Ina Gardner is writer of numerous popular American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show is on since 2002. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget documents. Though she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. Then she bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. There were many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns that came later. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina is not a student at any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She she is completely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known.
