Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian artist and singer. Over 20 albums have been released by her. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk and alternative rock but also has elements of punk, funk, hip hop and jazz. Ani Difranco is recognized as an icon of feminist music. In 1990, she was among the first to establish her own independent record label. DiFranco is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
