Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she drew the attention of people in the year 2010. Her ability to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the cutting edge, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music and of independent, arty pop. Her soprano voice and knack for writing emotionally honest songs is what makes her stand out.
